Its a short stroll to the Lakes edge, childrens playground and walkway. Private, family friendly back yard with sunny tiled terrace with outdoor furniture/games available. 3 adult bikes & helmets available to use at own risk. Pool table, dartboard, a selection of board games & toys to keep everyone amused. Great place for inter generational meet ups.
Locally and a short drive towards town (approx 2kms) is Kokomea Village which has a Woolworths Supermarket, a Liquorland, a Cafe and a small variety of other food outlets.
Approximately 2km to the south near the junction with State Highway 1 is 'The Landing' which has a variety of family entertainment (mini golf, indoor trampoline park, 10 pin bowling etc), a gastro pub, cafe and ice cream parlour.
Taupo is a haven for the outdoor enthusiast - whether its boating, fishing, mountain biking, golfing .. Taupo and surrounds has it all. The Bach is only mins to the 3 Mile Bay boat ramp for the water enthusiasts. For the adrenaline junky .. try bungy jumping, sky diving, the extreme swing or a Jet boat ride on the Waikato River. You may just want to take in the world famous Huka Falls or relax in thermal hot pool.
